Located on Petrie Road in Belmont and open for practice 4-days per week, Brisbane Gun Club is South East Queensland’s premier clay target club. Set in picturesque surroundings and easily accessible from where-ever you’re based in the Brisbane Metropolitan area, don’t leave this one off your list.

Shotgun shooters are well catered for at the club which forms part of the wider Belmont Shooting Complex that contains more than 75 different recreational and competitive shooting groups over a huge area. All within a less than 10 minute drive from Brisbane International Airport.

NEW TO CLAY TARGET SHOOTING?

Brisbane Gun Club caters to the newest of clay shooters through to some of the world’s most experienced including Australian and International Olympians.

If you’re looking to try clay target shooting for the first time then you might be interested in their Come & Try program. 

Come and Try at Brisbane allows unlicensed shooters the opportunity to shoot at clays under the watchful eye of qualified instructors

CLAY TARGET COMPETITIONS

Being an Australian Clay Target Association affiliated club has many benefits including regular hosting of competitions across many disciplines. 

DTL

Monthly DTL Comps are run on the 1st Sunday of every month as well as an annual 2 day carnival. 

There is also a monthly DTL night shoot held on a Wednesday evening under lights which is a load of fun with a great atmosphere. 

DTL Practice is available on multiple layouts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Midday where you can practice and shoot at your own leisure. 

American Skeet

With 3 x American Skeet Layouts set-up full time and a dedicated ISSF or Olympic Skeet layout available Brisbane caters to all your Skeet needs. 

American Skeet Competitions are held monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the Month. 

Trench

Trench is a fast exciting discipline loved by many of Brisbane Gun Club members. Typically seen as more challenging than DTL and technically an Olympic discipline, why not give it a try?

The Club hosts a monthly Trench Competition on the 2nd Sunday of every month.
