Before you can obtain a Firearms License, it is required that you complete a Firearms Safety Course for each category of firearm that you would like to register.
There are both theoretical and practical components to be completed in each course and it is required that you have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to complete the course. A USI is similar to a Tax File Number but used for training purposes. If you do not have a USI, you can apply for one online at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi
Glenn is a registered Senior Trainer and accredited firearms instructor with Pistol Shooting Queensland (RTO# 2962) qualified to assess categories A, B, C, D, H, and M for Sporting, Recreational, Employment, Collectors and Professionals seeking qualification.
We offer regular courses for categories A, B & C that are conducted at Caboolture Clay Target Club (CCTC) as well as regular courses conducted by In Training Systems (RTO #2929) that are conducted at Belmont Shooting Complex.
Select from one of the below courses to register for a Firearms Safety Course or call the store to organise times in store and at BIPC to complete both parts of the course.
The course is suited to ages 11 years and above.
