Schmidt–Rubin 7.5 x 53.5 Swiss Army service rifle

Easily identified as one of the original straight-pull bolt actions invented by Rudolf Schmidt

Blued steel finish on polished hardwood stocks and all matching numbers.

30.7″ blued barrel with very clean bore and quadrant sight graduated to 2000m

Nearly all of the 1889/96 were converted into Model 1896/11 in the 1910s.

Of the 137,000 89/96s produced, only 1,280 remained in their original configuration making this a great collector
